Thanks for Rowan who repaired my Hughes & Kettner... amp head. Rowan is a very professional and nice guy. He inspected the amp head very thoroughly and found out why it can't be switched on. He explained to me on every step he's going to do on the amp head. It takes less than an hour for fixing it up. Amazing!!! As suggested, we enjoyed a nice coffee nearby at Corner House Cafe before taking a long journey to home (2.5 hrs drive)!! I must say: It worths taking a long drive to Rowan's workshop! I took my old Laney LC-30 amp to Rowan when it... started to develop pops and crackles and became over noisy. Rowan performed a full service, replaced the valves and a few other components, returning the amp to full working order.

Throughout the process Rowan kept me up to date with progress. Very easy to deal with. Excellent service.

My main gigging amp was dead on the clean... channels. I’d replaced the pre-amp valves myself and thought it had been cured as I tested it at home…..but as soon as it was called on to perform live again….nothing.

I run a guitar repairs workshop myself and have known of Rowan for a long while and referred anyone needing their amp fixing to Keld, but this was the first time I’d taken an amp to him.

He kept me in the loop at all times, even providing me with a helpful video of his findings, which was great. Tried the amp at rehearsals the other night and it’s the monster it always used to be once again! I will continue to refer my amp enquiries his way as he’s a obviously a master of his craft.

Would just like to say Keld ampworks did a... cracking job fixing my ampeg bass amplifier they sorted the issue out and it now sounds great.... I also had a problem with my 1978 fender precision bass one of the pickups needed rewiring Keld fixed this problem and it now sounds great... I had a problem with my PJB Roadcase and... discovered Keld was quite local to me. Rowan managed a quick turn round for me, keeping me in the loop as to what he was doing. He also provided a full service report and PAT test. I was able to proceed to my next gig without the aid of a back-up rig. Rowan did a great job of fixing various ailments... with 25 year old Marshall Valvestate 8080 . As it isnt a valuable amp it would have been very easy to write it off as an uneconomic repair . Rowan listened to my list of symptoms , proposed a rough guide to the costs of repair before working on it and said he would check before doing any additional work if required so as not to go into too much cost . Amp is now back to 100 % health PAT Tested and ready for another 25 years of service . Excellent friendly service from someone who you can have total confidence in . I have another dodgy amp working its way to him soon and look forward to seeing his specialist knowledge at work again .10 out of 10 with all the bells and whistles !read more

Very reasonable pricing for a great job done by a great guy.

Rowan is an amazing amp technician across... lincolnshire, he did a fantastic job servicing my Marshall DSL40c which had a valve failure, when he put new matched power valves in and biased them the amp sounded perfect.

I sent my MXR Carbon Copy to Rowan thinking it... needed the ESD fix which Rowan did, but to no avail - it turns out that the BBD chips and the compounder chip had failed so Rowan sourced the parts and returned my CC to working order and it sounds incredible again - I'd recommend him for any sort of repair work, he'll bend over backwards to get the job done. a highly detailed explanation and breakdown of the required and recommended work on my Two Rock Traditional Clean Amp. This was a nice touch, especially the video which explained this all.

   My 20 year old Ashdown amp began losing a lot of volume, after a quick call to Rowan, I dropped my amp into him and he diagnosed the fault in under 5 minutes, and using his express service he fixed it within 24 hours and I had it back, fixed and sounding as good as new all ready for my next gig at the weekend.
Cannot thank Rowan enough and cannot recommend him enough.

   Rowan repaired and serviced my Fender Blues Deluxe. As I had a gig the following day, he was able to fit me in for a same-day appointment. His communication was excellent throughout, and he offered my a range of options before undertaking the the work. Back on the road and sounding great in a few hours.    Learned more about my Marshall in 10 mins than I would have thought possible. This dude has some weird looking equipment thought for a while I was in a submarine, but he knows how to use them, and explained roughly to me what they did. Nothing was to much trouble, would recommend  him to anyone, and in future if I have problems keld would be my first port of call. Carn’t rate the dude high enough.
